Carri’s experience spans all aspects of communications law and policy. In 1995 she became a founding member of Bennet & Bennet. Carri has provided expert testimony to the FCC and Congress on rural wireless issues and speaks regularly at industry trade shows and legal seminars. She represents her clients before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), state regulatory agencies, the courts and Congress. For more than 25 years, she has advised clients and industry groups on creating strategic alliances and new business opportunities in the fast-paced world of telecommunications technologies. Carri is a registered lobbyist. She serves as General Counsel to the Rural Wireless Association (RWA) and serves on the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS). Her clients include wireless providers, content providers, mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs), equipment manufacturers and investment companies. Carri was also named to the 2013 Washington DC Super Lawyers list.

Erin joined the firm in 2013, and assists clients with wireline, wireless, broadband, broadcasting and other communications and technology-based issues. She advises clients on issues regarding spectrum auctions, wireless devices, Universal Service Fund reform, Lifeline service, E-Rate, Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service, network neutrality, service quality requirements and E-911 obligations. Erin has represented numerous clients in Federal Communications Commission matters, from small, independent wireless service providers to large, flagship public universities. Prior to joining Bennet & Bennet, Erin was an associate attorney in the Washington, DC office of a large, multi-national law firm where she represented video, satellite, wireline and wireless sector clients in litigation matters, regulatory proceedings, and in business transactions. Before attending law school, Erin was a Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Kent Conrad. As a Senate staffer, Erin worked on rural policy issues and was responsible for the Senator’s telecommunications and education agendas. Erin also serves as Assistant Regulatory Counsel to the Rural Wireless Association.

Tony joined the firm in 2010 and assists clients on wireline, wireless and broadband issues. Tony’s law experience includes administrative law issues while working for the Broward County attorney’s office in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and while employed with CTIA-The Wireless Association in Washington, D.C. Prior to law school, Tony served over four years in the United States Army as a communications specialist working with satellite, high frequency and FM voice and data communications both in the U.S. and overseas. Tony also has experience performing engineering work for Pioneer Communications, a rural independent local exchange carrier in Ulysses, KS. In his spare time, Tony represents military veterans on a pro-bono basis before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. Tony is also currently a member of the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association’s Associate Member Advisory Council.

Brody Bryant began his career in the banking sector, however, for the last 20 years he has thrived in the telecommunications and internet security industry.

His career began with BellSouth Mobility, working his way through various departments.

He was then promoted to BellSouth International as the Sales Director of the Americas for BSIWS (BellSouth International Wireless Services). His role here was extremely dynamic leading the “BSIWS” team to support roaming related telecom needs for 13 BellSouth Properties throughout Latin America(now Telefonica).

Mr. Bryant then changed gears to help prepare BSIWS for divesture to Illuminet Corporation. Here he expanded his role to incorporate additional telecom services including: Signaling, Clearing, Roaming and Data Services.

Shortly after this acquisition, VeriSign purchased Illuminet and once again Mr. Bryant was tasked with the goal of consolidation of services and human resources.

At VeriSign Mr. Bryant served as the global account director for sales in the Americas and as liaison with his counterparts in EMEA and Asia to serve telecom, cable and internet companies around the world.

He was assigned to live and work in Caracas, Venezuela to support the growing CALA region.

He was responsible for a large portfolio of services as telecom and internet merged. Billing, Content Delivery, Cyber Security, CALEA/RIPA Compliance, Domain Registration, PrePaid, Roaming Services, Network support, VAS, to name a few.

Brody is currently in charge of sales and business development at Yaana Technologies, which was spun out of VeriSign. Yaana Tech offers services that provide managed and appliance services that enable enterprises and service providers to enhance their security and compliance capabilities in a global marketplace.

Julie Gogel serves as Telcom Insurance Group’s Director of Account Executives and serves members in 7 states.

Julie has been working in the Telecommunications industry for 20 years and specifically the Telecommunications Insurance industry for 4 years.

Julie is very active in the industry, she serves on the Foundation for Rural Service Board (FRS) and also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Associate Member Advisory Council.
