The Rural Wireless Association, Inc. (RWA) is pleased to see that the FCC has adopted a Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, which seeks comment on numerous issues to modify the 5G Fund for Rural America framework, including redefining 5G Fund eligible areas and how it will transition legacy high-cost support.

Appropriately addressing these outstanding issues will determine how effectively the 5G Fund will be able to close the digital divide and ensure 5G connectivity across rural communities.  RWA looks forward to submitting comments in response to this Further Notice in order to highlight the issues vital to rural communities and the rural carriers committed to serving them.
