The Rural Wireless Association (RWA) would like to congratulate Tom Wheeler on his Senate confirmation as Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Mike O’Rielly on his confirmation as FCC Commissioner. RWA looks forward to working with Chairman Wheeler, Commissioner O’Rielly and their respective staff on issues impacting rural consumers and the rural wireless carriers who serve rural areas in the upcoming years to ensure that rural America receives wireless services on par with those in urban and suburban areas, including devices like the iPhone and reasonably priced roaming services.
