Operator to add Interop RCS solution to comprehensive suite of services
FORT MYERS, Fla. — Interop Technologies, a provider of core wireless solutions for advanced messaging, over-the-air handset management, and connectivity gateways, today announced that Bluegrass Cellular has renewed its multi-year agreement for multiple cloud-based mobile services, including an agreement for the Interop Rich Communication Services RCS solution. Bluegrass will continue to utilize Interop’s Short Message Service SMS, Multimedia Message Service MMS, and Over-the-Air Provisioning OTA with Interactive Voice Response IVR system as well as its Messaging Personalization and Control MPAC solution and Wireless Application Protocol WAP service.
Bluegrass Cellular, known for delivering cutting-edge solutions to wireless subscribers in Central Kentucky, recently introduced a fixed LTE service to complement its existing 4G LTE network launched through the Verizon Wireless rural LTE program. By taking advantage of Interop’s cloud deployment option, the regional network operator will continue to provide subscribers with state-of-the-art core services while minimizing the in-house resources required to manage its technology solutions.
