Boulder, Colorado – GetLisa Information Services has signed agreements with Panhandle Telecommunication Systems, Epic Touch Co., Peoples Wireless, and Mosaic Telecom for SMS Shortcode Services. The deals include a mix of premium and standard rate SMS, and Panhandle Telecommunication Systems recently chose to extend its existing shortcode offering to include GetLisa’s LISA Local Shortcode solution that allows a carrier to create and execute customized, local shortcode campaigns to (and for) their subscribers.
“These new customers add to the impressive list of rural and regional carriers currently benefiting from our best in class shortcode service,” said George Woodward, CEO of GetLisa Information Services. “We recognized the value of shortcodes several years ago and have been diligently adding aggregators and campaigns ever since, and we now offer the most aggregators as the largest provider and the best value in the industry. This is another very important way that we help our carriers compete. Today’s subscribers have long expected popular shortcodes to function as part of their standard service, and are now requesting access to local campaigns as well. This is another differentiator that the national carriers can’t match.”
GetLisa’s full shortcode offering runs on the GetLisa EMX (Extended Media Exchange) platform. The LISA Local Shortcode application also runs on the EMX and is also part of GetLisa’s MicroLocal™ offering, which gives regional carriers a way to connect and serve their subscribers in way that is unique, personal and local.
