RICA & RWA collocate new programming focused on opportunities for rural communications providers
TMC announced it is welcoming the Rural Com Show as a collocated event at ITEXPO Las Vegas, held August 11-14, 2014, at The Rio in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Rural Com Show (RCS) will be held August 12-13 and is produced by the Rural Independent Competitive Alliance (RICA) and the Rural Wireless Association (RWA). It will explore the technology, strategic planning and regulatory issues affecting the competitive services and wireless offerings of rural communications companies. RCS will complement the already robust conference programming offered at ITEXPO and its other collocated shows that highlight the latest technology and trends for carriers in software-defined networking (SDN), network functions virtualization (NFV), Machine-to-Machine (M2M), global spectrum sharing, TV white space and more.
“We are so proud to welcome RCS to ITEXPO this August. RCS is a unique opportunity to take a deep dive into the opportunities and challenges that exist in the rural communications market and it will extend the amount of valuable programming for the carriers, service operators, applications and infrastructure providers, vendors and consultants attending ITEXPO,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC CEO and ITEXPO conference chairman.
The current RCS agenda will be delivered by leading experts from within the rural communications industry. Conference programming includes the following sessions:
The Communications Company of Tomorrow
The FYI on the IoT and the M2M
M&A and Tier 1 Update
Regulatory and Legislative Updates
