The Rural Wireless Association appointed James Dunn, CEO of Copper Valley Wireless in Valdez, Alaska to its Board. Mr. Dunn has over 25 years of telecom industry experience and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Copper Valley Telecom, a telephone cooperative established in 1961 in Valdez, Alaska. Dunn holds an MBA and law degree from Georgetown University.
“We are extremely pleased that James has joined the RWA Board. With his vast knowledge and experience, he will be a great addition to our diverse Board, ” stated Mike Kilgore, President of RWA.
“I am ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work to put rural wireless carrier issues on the forefront. RWA’s advocacy is critical to create a level playing field and I am committed to getting our voices heard,” said James Dunn.
In addition, the Board appointed Jana Wallace, COO of Panhandle Telecommunications Systems, to Chair its Education Committee.
